Feature on Mike Roberts and Mansfield Fire P&D - September 10, 2011

Mike Roberts of the Mansfield Fire Dept. Pipes and Drums was featured in a local news broadcast in a feature about how the bagpipes are used to commemorate 9-11 in our area. Mike did a nice job demonstrating the pipes and the story is very nicely done! Here's the video:

Tartan Day Gallery Show - April 9, 2011

Carola Locke, artist mom of student Aaron, painted an amazing portrait using me and my pipes as models. The portrait was done just in time for a tartan themed gallery showing at the Fire House Gallery here in Fort Worth! So I asked if I might pipe at the opening night. Gallery owner, Keith Thomson, a Scot, thought it was a good idea. I had a lot of fun adding to the Scottishness of the evening, and it was a trip to see a nearly life-sized picture of myself on display. Carola is a gifted painter. See more of her work here
